At 10MW+, transformer procurement is the most common construction bottleneck — lead times of 6–12 months are standard. Natural gas generation integration should be designed in from the start, not retrofitted.
Cooling System Selection
- Air cooling: Lowest cost, widest compatibility, best in cold climates
- Immersion: 20–30% efficiency improvement, higher infrastructure cost
